Kitayama Wakasa chopsticks have translucent red lacquer over gold foil finish. Decorated with mother of pearl, shell and minerals add beautiful colors and richness. More beautiful in person than a photo can ever convey. The chopsticks have a base of Malas wood (Homalium tomentosum), harvested in Indonesia. The handle is coated with Acrylic and the tip in natural Urushi lacquer finish.
